Employee Agreement

Business Owners: You can have new employees sign the following form as their employment contract. Please be aware that employment laws can differ from state to state. It is best to consult with Bounds Law LLC or another attorney to make sure your employment agreement complies with your state’s specific requirements. Both you and the employee will sign this agreement after you have agreed to the terms of the employment and before the employee begins work.

How to Use this Form:

  1. Download the Word Document (so that the document can be edited).
  2. Read through the ENTIRE AGREEMENT at least once before editing.
  3. (Become familiar with the form and any documents you may need).
  4. Revise the HIGHLIGHTED Information and make provisions as needed.
  5. Delete any NOTES that may be written in. This includes pronouns that have been highlighted and may need to be changed.
  6. Make sure the page numbers are accurate.
  7. Confirm that ALL parties are identified. Execute (Sign) the Agreement.
  8. Keep a COPY of the Signed Agreement in your files.

**OPTIONAL** – Put this agreement onto your company’s letterhead or add your logo to the top in order to look more “Official.”
