Website terms of use (sometimes referred to as terms of service) are intended to be a contract between the website owner and each user of the site (the website users or site users).
Individual Contracts
If you’re planning on having a speaker for an event, you can use this form with the speaker to define your relationship and expectations for the event.
This agreement ensures all intellectual property created as part of the relationship is owned by you, the company, hiring the contractor.
Website Designers: you can use this form if the Client—not You/Your Company—unilaterally or you both mutually agree to end the Agreement for whatever reason.

The documents were drafted to be generally applicable throughout the United States, but if you have a question or want to be sure about your state’s laws, we encourage you to consult with a local lawyer. Since you will already have a solid contract to discuss with a local lawyer, this consultation should be simple and quick, without requiring much research or one-on-one legal time. Essentially, they should still save you money in the long run.
