Anti-Retaliation Policy

Most businesses adopt an anti-retaliation policy as part of their standard business policies.  This is a policy to provide early on to your employees and/or contractors, consultants or others involved in your company to give notice of your company’s particular policy.  If you do not provide this to the employee, contractor, etc. though, they won’t be expected to follow it.  You should ensure to have your employee, contractor, etc. sign this as part of your Employee Handbook and/or on-boarding and hiring.  As a business, you may also want to consider mandatory anti-retaliation, discrimination, and harassment training to coincide and reinforce this policy.  When filling in the below Policy, ensure to pay attention to the “Complaints of Discrimination” section, specifically who complaints are to be reported to.
